The Old House Memories

This little house in Lexington, Kentucky, shaped my faith. My grandparents raised our family there with prayer, humility, and open doors. Though they pastored a growing church, they never sought wealth or comfort. They chose to serve, feeding neighbors, welcoming strangers, and sharing Christ’s love with anyone in need.

Years later, after wandering far from my faith and experiencing homelessness myself, God led me back. Through Love Bigger, I rediscovered the same message I learned in that small house: ministry is not about what we own, but about loving and serving others. Those childhood memories continue to inspire me to share meals, hope, and the love of Christ with those who need it most.
